“The human body, at peace with itself, is more precious than the rarest gem. Cherish your body, it is yours this one time only. The human form is won with difficulty, it is easy to lose.” ~ Tsongkhapa, c. 1357–1419

This is a web-based, four-year cyclical curriculum, In 2025-26 we will be studying year 3 of the curriculum. Students can start their BSI journey at any year and everyone is welcome to apply to become part of this online Dharma studies sangha.
Our Teacher and Spiritual Director, Venerable Thich Tri Hoang, created a curriculum that offers students a meaningful and exciting learning experience. The Buddhadharma Studies Institute (BSI) makes every effort to live up to its ideal to benefit students by offering them the opportunity to work closely with dear Dharma Advisors who are experienced ordained Dharma Lay priests, teachers, monks, and nuns that accompany them throughout their Dharma-learning journey.
While this is NOT a teacher-led class, students’ learning/retention/application of the Dharma is enhanced by the opportunity to deliver at least one Dharma presentation thus becoming teachers while being students and vise-versa. The class meets via Zoom from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM ET/ 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM CT approximately every other Saturday from September to April.
Visit our website at bsi.DharmaTeacherOrder.org to learn more about this exciting Buddhadharma studies program and to submit your application. You will receive an invitation to the student orientation via Zoom, scheduled for August 9 at 10:00 AM Eastern time, 9:00 AM Central time.
