The Venerable monastics and Zen masters of the Lam Te Chuc Thanh Temple lineage in the United States are happy to invite you to Dinh Quang Temple to hold a memorial and gratitude ceremony honoring the founder of our lineage on Saturday and Sunday, December 7 and 8, 2024. 9:00 Am: Inviting the Great Bell; morning chanting & meditation (English)
10:00 Am: Presentation by Most Venerable Thich Tri Hoang & Most Venerable Thich Dong Tri on the History of the Lam Te Chuc Thanh lineage (English)
12:00 Pm: Lunch, enjoying each other’s company
2:00 Pm: Panel Discussion, Our Stories of Buddhism in America: Q&A of leaders of English-speaking programs
3:00Pm: Chanting Amitabha Sutra (Vietnamese)
4:00 Pm: Hungry Ghost Ceremony (Vietnamese)

6:30 Pm: Tea meditation & Mindfulness songs, in gratitude for the Venerable Thich Hanh Tuan, the teacher who founded the annual memorial of the Lam Te Chuc Thanh lineage in the United States (Vietnamese & English)

10:45 Am: Memorial Ceremony for Patriarch Minh Hai Phap Bao and Past Patriarchs (Vietnamese & English)
12:30 Pm: Offering dāna to the monastic sangha
12:45 Pm: Lunch
2:30 Pm: Branson-Springfield City Tour (anyone may join; we will visit various places) OR relax at the temple and enjoy each other’s company
